The best beach boho-style clubs on the Côte d’Azur
Sun, sea breeze, and a sip of rosé: Welcome to the French Riviera!
Between Saint-Tropez and Menton, one dreamy beach club follows the next, each with its own unique style. Some are luxurious and glamorous, others relaxed in effortless boho chic, but all share that unmistakable touch of French joie de vivre. We set out to find the most beautiful boho beach clubs on the Côte d’Azur. places where you can sink your feet into the sand, let your soul unwind, and simply enjoy life. Here are our personal favorites, perfect for anyone who loves sun, style, and a little la vie en plage.
Anjuna – Èze Plage
Anjuna Beach in Èze is the epitome of Côte d’Azur cool with a touch of Bali flair. Nestled between rocky cliffs and turquoise waters, this beautiful beach club sits in the bay of Èze-Plage. It’s laid-back, stylish, and perfect for those who love great food, good music, and even better vibes – and who don’t mind spending a little extra for the experience.
At lunchtime, Mediterranean cuisine with a hint of exotic flair is served, and in the evening it turns truly atmospheric as the sun sets over the sea and the DJ provides the soundtrack for the perfect summer night. As for the beach, there are definitely nicer stretches along the Côte d’Azur that are pebble-free and shallower. The interior of Anjuna is stunningly beautiful, so it’s no longer a hidden gem. But honestly, for good reason.
La Cabane Plage – Menton
A true beach paradise right in the heart of Menton! Pure Caribbean vibes with soft sand, Latin beats, and a mood that makes you kick off your shoes instantly. On the menu: grilled fish, tapas, salads, burgers, and of course cocktails you’ll want to order twice.
The best part: the beach is completely eco-friendly, from the wooden loungers and umbrellas to the little bamboo straws. If you rent a lounger, you can enjoy your lunch comfortably right under the sunshade. And in the evening, drinks and dinner with your feet in the sand as the sun slowly sets. For us, La Cabane Plage is the most beautiful beach club in Menton and the view of the old town alone is breathtaking.
Naos Beach – Cap d’Ail
Naos Beach in Cap d’Ail is one of those places that perfectly combines style and ease. Here you can lounge on comfortable furniture under pretty macramé umbrellas, gaze out at the sparkling water, and enjoy top-notch Mediterranean cuisine. Or you can soak up life in the restaurant area: whether it’s fresh fish, crisp salads, or a chilled rosé, everything tastes twice as good with this view.
The beach club is right on the sea and even within easy walking distance from Monaco. Perfect if you want to escape the hustle and bustle for a few hours without going far. Mykonos vibes come free of charge.
La Rose De Vents – Monaco
La Rose des Vents in Monaco is the epitome of style. Exceptionally, this recommendation comes without any boho or bamboo – just pure, elegant Riviera vibes. Here, classic chic meets relaxed luxury, with no frills but plenty of class. White-draped tables, red cushions, comfortable beach loungers, and deluxe sea views. There are beach clubs along the Côte d’Azur by the dozen, but few are as beautiful as this one.
The cuisine? Mediterranean, refined, and just really good, perfect for a lunch or a sundowner that sparkles golden in your glass. And even if the style leans more Côte d’Azur than Bali, La Rose des Vents definitely deserves a spot on the list of the most beautiful beach clubs on the French Riviera.

La Javanaise – Beaulieu-sur-Mer
La Javanaise in Beaulieu-sur-Mer is located in the idyllic bay of Plage de la Petite Afrique. However, the beach’s name doesn’t really match the vibe. Instead, it feels more like a short trip to Indonesia, with plenty of Bali-inspired touches. This mainly applies to the interior, as the menu stays true to the region, focusing on Mediterranean cuisine.
The charming, fine pebble beach Plage de la Petite Afrique is lined with pines and palms that provide welcome shade in the summer. The loungers are comfortable, and La Javanaise is reasonably priced compared to some of the more expensive beach clubs on the French Riviera.
Baia Plage – Mandelieu-sur-Mer
Baia Plage in Mandelieu at Port de la Rague is a true paradise right on the water, nestled in the bay of Cannes. The décor is bright, airy, and full of boho vibes, with natural materials that give the beach club a relaxed, cozy atmosphere. Whether sipping a cocktail, lounging on a sunbed, relaxing under an umbrella, or sampling Mediterranean cuisine, a day at Baia Plage smells of sun, sea, and pure holiday bliss. The beautiful boho interior makes it even easier to leave everyday life behind and just unwind. Visually, it ranks high on the list of the most beautiful beach clubs on the Côte d’Azur.
Restaurant Le Repère – Mandelieu-sur-Mer
The restaurant Le Repère, also in Mandelieu-sur-Mer, isn’t a typical beach club but rather a cozy restaurant right on the harbor. While it sits by the water, there’s no direct beach access. Still, you can book sun loungers and simply enjoy the view over the Bay of Cannes, perfect for a relaxing afternoon. If you’d rather have sand beneath your feet, Baia Plage next door offers the ideal spot with direct access to the sea.
The ambiance is truly lovely, with warm wood, cozy décor, and a relaxed vibe that instantly puts you in holiday mode. We especially love the large wood-fired oven where the pizzas are freshly baked. They’re not only delicious but their aroma makes your mouth water even more.
La Pura Vida in Les Issambres is, for us, the very best beach club on the Côte d’Azur – we fell in love immediately. Not far from Sainte-Maxime, this little gem sits right on Plage de la Gaillarde, which is already a dream with its shallow water, fine sand, and perfect swimming conditions.
It’s cozy, relaxed, and surprisingly not completely overpriced, something you can’t always say about the Côte d’Azur. A perfect mix of style, chill vibes, and sea views that instantly gives you that pure Pura Vida feeling.
Le Maïva Plage – Les Issambres
Le Maïva Plage is also right on the beautiful La Gaillarde beach in Les Issambres, and that’s exactly where the holiday feeling begins. The restaurant combines Mediterranean flair with a touch of Thailand, bringing a refreshing vibe to the Côte d’Azur. The cuisine is creative without being pretentious, and the ambiance is just right: relaxed, stylish, and with your feet almost in the sand. Whether for a sunny lunch or a cozy dinner with a sea view, Maïva is truly a feel-good spot.

Les P’tits Galets – Sainte-Maxime
Les P’tits Galets in Sainte-Maxime is one of those places where you immediately think: everything here is just perfect. Located right on the water, with a fine sandy beach at your doorstep and crystal-clear, shallow water that’s perfect for dipping in, you instantly feel like you’re on holiday.
The beach club itself is lovingly designed, with natural materials, light wooden furniture, and linen and rattan accents that create a cozy, relaxed boho atmosphere. Small details are everywhere, making it perfectly Instagram-worthy without feeling forced. Les Petites Galets strikes the perfect balance of style, comfort, and relaxed Côte d’Azur vibes.
Les Graniers – Saint-Tropez
Les Graniers is located right on the small beach of Le Granier near Saint-Tropez, tucked away peacefully in a charming bay. It’s a short walk from the town center, yet it still feels like you’re far from the hustle and bustle. It’s actually more of a restaurant than a classic beach club, but during the high season you can rent a few mats and loungers right in front of the restaurant. They’re set directly on the sand, which makes the whole experience wonderfully relaxed.
We love the atmosphere there. The tables and chairs are set right on the beach, a few pretty umbrellas provide shade, and everything feels wonderfully unpretentious. The food was excellent on both of our visits – honestly, it was even our favorite meal on the Côte d’Azur. Considering the location so close to Saint-Tropez, the prices are reasonable. Every time we visit, we just feel completely at ease.
Verde Beach – Ramatuelle
Verde Beach is beautifully located right on the famous Pampelonne Beach in Ramatuelle, boasting a setting that looks truly stunning. Mediterranean vibes, white lounges, and stylish interiors instantly create a holiday feeling, perfectly enjoyed with sand beneath your feet. The menu is creative and high-quality, inviting a little culinary adventure that makes the visit extra special.
The attention to detail and the service are definitely impressive, letting you experience the Côte d’Azur at its most elegant. For us personally, it was a bit too expensive for what you get. Still, it’s worth a visit if you just want to soak up the atmosphere and daydream a little about the luxury of Pampelonne Beach.
Cabane Bambou – Ramatuelle
A sandy path lined with bamboo leads you to this charming beach hut in Ramatuelle. Cabane Bambou sits right on one of the most famous beaches of the Côte d’Azur. The interior? White wood, rattan lamps, linen umbrellas, and lounge beds in the sand—perfect for burying your feet, sipping a cocktail, or partying.
The cuisine offers Mediterranean delights with modern touches: fresh fish, risottos, and creative dishes. What we personally loved: the vibe is super relaxed, stylish, and effortless, and it won us over immediately. Prices are on the higher side, but for a day of luxury vibes, it’s more than reasonable.
La Boho – Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer
La Boho Beach in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer feels like a little retreat right on the Mediterranean. The loungers aren’t just comfortable—they’re almost perfect for lazing around with a cocktail in hand. The design is modern, airy, and super inviting, with light wooden furniture, linen fabrics, and Mediterranean touches that instantly create holiday vibes. We especially loved the relaxed atmosphere: you feel welcome without being watched, and yet everything looks Instagram-worthy. Perfect for a laid-back day of sun, sea, and delicious food—just hanging out without anyone rushing you.
In the end, all that’s left to say is: the Côte d’Azur knows how to do beach clubs like no other place, effortlessly combining style, sun, and joie de vivre. Each beach club has its own character—sometimes laid-back with boho flair, sometimes elegant with views of the yachts—and somehow, everywhere feels like a little piece of paradise. Sure, some places are a bit pricier, but when the sun slowly sets over the sea and the rosé is ice-cold… for us, it’s clear: we’ll be back, and next time with even more desire for sun, sea, and good vibes.
