THERE ARE ONLY TWO WAYS TO LOOK AT THE WORLD: EITHER YOU BELIEVE THAT NOTHING IN THE WORLD IS A MIRACLE, OR THAT THERE IS NOTHING BUT MIRACLES.
-Albert Einstein-

I’m glad you’re here and interested in finding out more about me.
My name is Anika. Born in Berlin, living in Cologne, but at heart at home all over the world. Because after friends and family, traveling is what I love most!
My favorite travel buddy is my son Noah. Together we explore different countries and cultures. We pack our suitcases as often as we can and set off to discover the world and all its wonders.

That’s me:
Adventurous, spontaneous, nature-loving, curious, impatient, addicted to travel, fun-loving, intuitive, independent, enthusiastic, enjoyable, freedom-loving, dreamy, immoderate, playful, organized and usually in a good mood.
I follow my dreams and usually let my gut feeling navigate me through life. So far, my inner compass has always guided me well, so I will continue to rely on it.
Travel
I flew for the first time when I was 6 years old. It was agreat adventure for me which I can still remeber today. That was probably the foundation for my many solo trips where I traveled the world by myself. That was probably the foundation for my many solo trips, where I traveled the world alone and perhaps that’s why I met so many great people so quickly. As a child I traveled with my parents to authentic destinations, away from the main touristy areas, big hotels or all inclusive packages. And that has mostly remained the case to this day. I put our trips together individually and like a mix of down-to-earth, authentic and simple, coupled with a little bit of luxury and pampering sometimes. We love to see a lot, experience a lot and not just lie by the pool.

Coziness
As I am a very visual person and I am all about: cozy, cozy, cozy. No matter where. At home, in hotels or when eating out.
I like warm light, candlelight, natural materials, a beautifully cultivated ambience, tidiness, attractive decorations and lots of green plants. That’s probably why the boho style is what makes my cozy heart beat faster. After all, lovingly designed boho spaces are often the embodiment of pure comfort. Holiday feelings comes free of charge with it. Bali, Mykonos, Ibiza or Tulum… Here you go!

What does BoHeyHo actually mean?
You’ve probably already discovered that the word boho is hidden in the name. This is of course my passion and the main focus of this travel blog. But I also wanted to express my way of thinking in cerain situations. Are things not going as planned? Did you stumble and fall? Hey Ho! Take a deep breath, get up, carry on and firmly believe that everything will be fine in the end. Hey Ho is a phrase I brought with me from my years in England. And it often fits so well. So I have mixed my boho love and a bit of Hey Ho attitude. And here we go: BoHeyHo.
