The Best Beach Bars in Rhodes – Pure Boho Style and Good Vibes
Rhodes is so much more than just sun and beaches. You’ll find plenty of beach bars and restaurants here that perfectly capture that ultimate holiday feeling. Whether it’s relaxing in cozy boho style with your feet in the sand, sipping a sundowner with a view of the turquoise sea, or enjoying delicious food right by the water – we’ll show you our favorite spots on the island where life feels especially easy. And if that’s not enough, we’ve got even more Rhodes tips for great excursions and activities.
Tambakio
Located at the southern end of the small bay of St. Paul’s Bay near Lindos, Tambakio is one of those places where you could easily spend the whole day. Crystal clear water, a stylish boho atmosphere and a fantastic view of the Acropolis of Lindos make it truly special.
The restaurant is simple yet elegant, decorated in shades of white and natural tones that create a relaxed, summery vibe. The cuisine is modern, but inspired by the original, simple Greek country cooking. The prices are on the higher side, but perfectly reasonable for Lindos.
If you like, you can reserve one of the cabanas or cozy daybeds on the beach and have drinks or snacks served right to your lounger. It’s a wonderful spot for lunch, dinner, or simply spending a full day in the stunning St. Paul’s Bay.
St. Paul Beach Restaurant
At the northern end of St. Paul’s Bay lies the beautiful St. Paul Beach Restaurant. The location is set on terraces with plenty of cozy seating in the shade of the trees. From here, you have a stunning view of the turquoise water of the bay and its soft sandy beach. In the morning, it’s wonderfully peaceful, perfect for a refreshing swim in the sea. When we visited, there were no sunbeds or umbrellas for rent, so it’s worth bringing a beach towel and maybe a small parasol. By midday, the beach gets quite sunny, and shady spots are hard to find.
The food is good, though not exceptional, and the prices are a bit higher, which is perfectly understandable given the stunning location. Overall, however, we were completely satisfied, and for me, the St. Paul Beach Restaurant is one of the most beautiful places on the island to enjoy a leisurely lunch while taking in the view of the sea. If you’re looking for more buzz, it’s better to come in the evening for dinner with cocktails.

Kounna Bar in Antony Quinn Bay
This lovingly designed beach bar and restaurant in a trendy Boho style definitely ranks among our top three spots in Rhodes. The swings add an extra Insta-worthy vibe, and the view is simply stunning. The food is excellent, the prices are very fair, and the overall experience is just perfect. The Anthony Quinn Bay is breathtakingly beautiful, though rather small.
There are only a few sunbeds and limited space for towels, so it’s worth arriving early in the morning to snag a good spot. Later on, parking becomes tricky, and the shaded areas in the small bay fill up quickly. Kounna Beach and Resto Bar is a beautiful place to enjoy a hearty meal, relax to some chill music, and simply soak up the moment. For us, it’s an absolute highlight and definitely one of the best beach bars on Rhodes!
Mojito Beach Bar
The Mojito Beach Bar is probably the most beautiful and colorful Tiki-style beach on Rhodes. Whether you’re after a cocktail in the sun or a refreshing dip in the sea, nothing stands in the way of a relaxing day at this charming hippie bar. The spacious pebble beach has plenty of sunbeds with umbrellas, a few stylish cabanas, and small tipis available to rent. You’ll also be well taken care of food-wise from early morning to late evening. And if you can’t get enough, you can even stay overnight in one of the guest rooms and enjoy the island’s laid-back vibe a little longer.
This little holiday paradise is located in the south of the island, near the picturesque village of Lachania. It’s far from the tourist crowds, but also not easy to reach without a car. We absolutely loved it there. Rhodes meets the South Seas.
To Kyma
Our undisputed number one and absolute feel-good spot on Rhodes is To Kyma in Stegna. Technically, To Kyma is a restaurant, but we still included it on our list of the best beach bars on the island because the relaxed atmosphere of sitting among banana palms with your feet in the sand and gazing out at the sea is simply unbeatable. Pure holiday vibes, almost like a little piece of Bali on Rhodes. And yes, they serve cocktails too. Cheers!
The classic Greek taverna food is incredibly tasty and the prices are moderate. After just a few visits, we felt at home there and the service was always warm and attentive.
If you don’t want to come just to feast, you can rent one of the cozy beach loungers or cabanas and enjoy the day on the relaxed Stegna Beach.
Playa de Azul (formerly Baia)
Just a few steps from the city center, right by the sea at the northern tip of Rhodes Town, Playa de Azul is waiting to be discovered. It is the new favorite spot for anyone seeking sunshine, good music, and a touch of holiday magic. Where the well-known Baia used to be, fresh life now pulses with Boho chic, Mexican vibes, and a generous dose of tropical flair.
Among palm trees, colorful cushions, and handcrafted decor, it feels as if you just took a turn after Tulum, only the water here is even bluer. During the day, there is chill music, delicious food, and colorful cocktails. In the evening, Playa de Azul transforms into a lively mix of beach lounge and dance floor, where Latin and Afro-House beats are sure to keep everyone moving.
Together with Elli Beach Club and Ronda Beach Bar, Playa de Azul is one of the absolute hotspots at the northern tip of Rhodes Town. It is perfect for anyone who loves life by the sea and enjoys it with style and good vibes.

Ronda Beach Bar
Ronda Beach Bar and Restaurant on Rhodes is the perfect spot if you are looking for sun, sea, and good vibes. It is located at Elli Beach, right in the center of Rhodes Town, and combines cool design with a relaxed atmosphere. During the day, you can lounge on the comfortable sunbeds, splash around in the crystal-clear water, and treat yourself to a fresh smoothie or a cocktail.
The food is impressive too, with light snacks, colorful bowls, and Mediterranean classics.
And the style? Oh so Boho. It is an absolute design dream. The location and trendy vibe do come at a price, so a day at Ronda is not exactly cheap. If that does not bother you, you are sure to have a great time there. Ronda could definitely be the leader among the best beach bars on Rhodes when it comes to its stunning interior.

Ellie Beach
The Elli World Beachbar in Rhodes Town is the epitome of beach feeling right in Rhodes town. Also located directly on the famous Elli Beach, this beach club offers everything you need for a perfect summer’s day: stylish loungers, refreshing drinks, good food and a fantastic view of the turquoise sea.
From morning until late at night, there is always something happening here. Whether it is for the first coffee with a sea view, a relaxed afternoon in the sun, or cocktails under the stars. The atmosphere is modern yet cozy, with a touch of luxury that never feels forced. Anyone who loves beach life, music, and Mediterranean flair should definitely put Elli World on their Rhodes must-visit list.
