We are excited to share one of our absolute favorite travel destinations in Germany with you today. It is a place where you can spend a perfect weekend and will probably want to stay much longer because it feels so welcoming and there is so much to discover. We are talking about the little boho paradise by the lake, Dein Lieblingsplatz in Parey. This beautiful hidden gem is located near Magdeburg, right on the shores of Lake M\u00fchlensee. The lake is actually an offshoot of the Elbe River, making it a wonderful starting point for boat tours and exploring the surrounding canals. For us, Dein Lieblingsplatz is one of the most beautiful accommodations we have found in Germany so far. <\/p>\n\n

Sleep in a Floating Igloo on the Lake<\/h2>\n\n

There are several types of accommodation<\/a> on the property. We stayed in the floating igloo, and it was definitely our favorite. There are only four of them, placed in pairs, peacefully floating right on the lake. Each one even comes with its own swan pedal boat, which is simply too lovely not to use. <\/p>\n\n

The igloo itself is incredibly cozy and comes with a small kitchenette for those who prefer to cook for themselves. A real highlight is the little fireplace on the terrace, which creates a wonderful atmosphere in the evening. We spent hours sitting outside, wrapped up and simply enjoying the view over the lake. The fire and the string lights bathed everything in a soft glow, and the mood was just perfect. <\/p>\n\n

From the very first moment, we felt completely at home. Everything is designed with such care that you can truly feel how much love has gone into this place. <\/p>\n
